El Marginal Story

El Marginal is a police procedural drama. It is created by Sebastián Ortega and Adrián Caetano. Caetano has also co-written the show with Guillermo Salmerón, Silvina Olschansky, Nicolás Marina. There have been 3 seasons of the show. A total of 29 episodes have been released.

The first season revolves around a former cop named Miguel Palacios. Miguel is in prison. The prison is named San Onofre. He is on a mission to infiltrate the gang behind the kidnapping of the daughter of the judge. He intends to find evidence related to the kidnapping.

The second season takes us into the backstory. It shows us the story before Miguel infiltrated the gang. It follows the story of Mario Borges and Juan Pablo “Diosito” Borges. They are both sent to San Onofre. Borges and Pablo are supposed to overthrow the leader of the prison. For this reason, they become an ally to a gang named Sub-21. The Borges-Pablo duo also allies with a doctor named Patricio Salgado who has a mysterious past. The story progresses as we see whether the duo will succeed in their plan.

The third season also features the Borges brothers. This time the brothers have the responsibility of taking care of the son of a well-known businessman. The son is named Cristian Pardo. Pardo is involved in a crime. He drunk killed his friend in a car accident. The season follows their story and more.
