Dash is very strict about organizing books, so while searching his library, he randomly finds a book named “Do You Dare” in front of it which was left by lily on purpose. It’s a book of dares with clues in it.
There are a few rules written in that book and the first dare goes like “You have to get on Microphone sing a song”. Then the next episode introduces Lily, she explains that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and she loves the season. She mentions that her family has many love stories during the Christmas season. She is clearly a hopeless romantic. Her narration is dampened when she learns her parents are going away for Christmas as they had never been on a honeymoon before.
Lily tells Dash that she wants to get to know him for Christmas. Dash suggests that they meet at Grand Central in the morning. This is Lily’s favorite time of the day; it’s quiet without the hustle and bustle of the day. Both the Characters communicate via the notebook.
The next morning, Dash goes to the club to ask Lily’s notebook but is told she never left it. He searches the club in search of the notebook but couldn’t find anything. Then he goes to the bathroom he finds a message saying that “I am scared” and a red boot that belongs to Lily, that is why the 4th episode was named “Cinderella”.
During this, Sofia, Dash’s Ex-Girlfriend, is in the town. This episode renames the show “Sofia & Edgar”.While Dash and Lily keep giving each other dares, Dash is sent to a mochi session, and Lily is sent to a crafts session.
So, in the last, it’s new year’s eve and Dash is in the library in search of hope that he could find that notebook, then the librarian hands him the red notebook which he was trying to find for days. In that book now it’s written that she used to believe New York was magic, but now she’s flying to Fiji. She agrees that they would never work out, but it was nice to believe.
