Kadokawa Shoten’s Shoumen Ace Magazine was behind the visual serialization of the manga series into 12 volumes between Jan 2006 and Dec 2010. It has been almost a decade since the last episode aired in April 2012. The first episode of the anime premiered in Oct 2011 across Japan.
