Will There Ever Be Akiba’s Trip Season 2?

It’s been almost three years since the first season of Akiba’s trip aired on January 4, 2017, while the fans have been eagerly waiting for the installation of the second season, both the director and the studio have been tight-lipped about it.

The anime gained a lot of fans as it is also a video game series but the ratings turned out to be quite low, till now there is no official announcement regarding the release of 2nd season. But on the optimistic side season, 2 is not canceled as of now. Fans remain optimistic, however, that season two will eventually appear.

Most of the storyline has already been adopted in the prior season and it is not based on a manga, predicting the rest of the story is beyond the bounds.

A second season leaves little suspense or questions unanswered and a sequel would not have many things to tie up from the first season hence, the makers have no reason to direct the 2nd season and as mentioned above, the ratings of the anime were quite unsatisfactory.
