Written by Haruto Hino, Takunomi is a manga series. It was put before the world in form of anime television series on MangaONE, an online app of Shogakukan, and the website Ura Sunday. It was aired under the production of IMS in January 2018 and continued till March 2018. Takunomi anime series is directed by Tomoki Kobayashi and is written by Katsuhiko Takayama. The series was covered under 12 episodes. Literally, Takunomi in English means “Drinking at home”. Takunomi’s story is all about experiencing new drinks per episode by lead character Michiru. The show is based on the physical pleasures that are experienced first time by Michiru when she moves to a new place. The show was aired on TBS, Sun TV, and the BS – TBS network.
Takunomi Season 2 Release Date
Takunomi season 2 may not come into reality because the production house IMS that produced Takunomi went bankrupt after producing Takunomi. Takunomi was the last series that was produced by IMS production. Even the popularity of the show is not so fascinating and the rating of Takunomi on MyAnimeList is 6.43. Takunomi also received an average response from the audience that’s why makers have no thought of making the second season of Takunomi. It has been almost four years since the release of the first season and people are not much excited about it. So there are few chances of renewal of Takunomi for the second season.

Takunomi Season 2 Plot
Takunomi second season’s probability is almost zero because the studio that produced the first installment of Takunomi went bankrupt and other studios have rejected to pick up the show because of its low audience and popularity. Takunomi doesn’t have any interesting plot twists. Even the storyline is not so catchy so that the audience can enjoy what they are seeing. But as we say, a miracle is unpredictable. So if in the far future, by chance any production studio manages to pick up the show for the second season there are chances that the female lead would be made to shift to a new city where she finds new roommates that are not funny and enjoying like their last friends.
Takunomi Season 1 Recap
Takunomi season 1’s plot was based on a city girl Michiru who moved to Tokyo for her new job and has just started living a lavish lifestyle. The residence she liked, at last, was Stella House Haruno where only the women were allowed to live on rent. There she met three girls namely Makoto, Kae, and Neo and each of these girls is living the pleasures of life at their peak. At last, they meet Michiru whom they make to drink Japanese alcoholic drinks. Each day they bring Michiru a new Japanese Alcoholic drink. Takunomi was all about materialistic pleasure. There was no emotional aspect, thriller aspect, and not even a psychological aspect in the show, and was only pleasure-based. That’s why the show got a straight rejection from the audience.
