The story revolves around a gang of five members including twins, Deandra and Dennis, their legal father Frank, and their friends Mac and Charlie. They run a bar named Paddy’s Pub in Philadelphia. It is shown that there is no unity in the group. They just fight with each other, throwing bad and dirty comments on each other and always in an opportunity to downfall others, without thinking its consequences.
Everyone has a unique personality with which he or she can be defined. They all are aggressive and negative people. They all are meant to humiliate each other. The pub did fine finances but when it was closed for some time and reopen again, it was in the bad condition and Frank somehow managed the pub just because of his previous saved money.

He is suffering from Body Dysmorphia, in which he gains and loses unusual weight.
Kaitlin Olson, seen in the character of Deandra Reynolds is the waitress in the Paddy’s Pub. She is referred a Bird by her gang members. She is a major in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania but did not graduate. Furthermore, she has a desire of becoming a great actress but could not due to her stage fear and lack of talent. Glenn Howerton, seen in the character of Dennis Reynolds is the owner of Paddy’s Pub. He is giant, abrasive, and hyper-sexual, seducing many of the women. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Psychology.
Danny DeVito, seen in the character of Frank Reynolds is the legal father of Dee and Dennis. He used to be a businessman but abandon this job and his wife. He now lives with Charlie in his small apartment.
