Both the season comprised of 10 episodes each which are of 21–30 minutes of duration.
As for the reception, both the season was well-received and acquired positive reviews from the audience. On Rotten Tomatoes, the first season has an approval rating of 56% with an average rating of 8 out of 10, based on 9 reviews. On IMDb, it secured a favorable rating of 7.1 out of 10 based on 8,724 users voting.
We are sad bearing this bad news that the third season is already canceled and that season 2 is one last and final season. Since the drama is based on a novel, the creators used up all the source material and decided to wrap up the series without unnecessarily dragging.
One of the cast Moe Truax spoke to the Digital Spy about the Trinkets and expressed their bittersweet feelings toward the news of the show ending and showed their satisfaction that the creator did a good job in well wrapping the story and that the two-season is the perfect amount of season and it would also do justice to the novel that the series is based on.

Created by Smith, Amy Andelson, and Emily Meyer, the series features three best friends who play the protagonist role which includes Brianna Hildebrand as Elodie Davis who is a socially awkward and kleptomaniac teen girl who moves from New Mexico, to Portland, Oregon, to live with her dad, his new spouse, and step-sibling after the demise of her mom. She experiences difficulty acclimating to her new existence with her dad yet frames a nearby bond with Moe and Tabitha for help.
