There is a city in India that is often referred to as the crime capital of the country. It is none other than Muzaffarnagar. This series is set in Muzaffarnagar 2003. Naveen Sikhera was appointed as the SSP and then was transferred to this city. However, it was not a normal transfer for all those gangsters who never paid attention or had fear of the police departments. The city was under the control of two gangs who carried out their businesses without any barriers in their way.

After Naveen was given the charge of Muzaffarnagar, it served as the punishment for both the gangs. Until his arrival, the local police never interrupted and interfered in their way. Therefore, Naveen Sikhera takes up the charge to clean the city and punish the criminals. As the new SSP, he was committed to his duty and hence he executes certain plans and encounters to destroy the Shaukeen and Dedha gang. He has to go against the local bodies so that he can make people believe in the law, once again.

The actor did an incredible job in Bhaukaal. When he was offered this role he said that being in the uniform of that courageous and brave police officer who broke the old criminal and local political nexus gives him the opportunity for this role play. Apart from Mohit Raina, the cast of Bhaukaal includes Abhimanyu Singh as Shaukeen, Pradeep Nagar as Pintu Dedha, Siddhanth Kapoor as Chintu Dedha and Bidita Bag as Nazneen. The other actors in prominent roles include Sunny Hinduja, Rashmi Rajput, and Gulki Joshi. The entire cast did complete justice to the part they played.
