The story is about the dark and corrupt side of the cricket world. Even though we see much fame, glamour, and popularity, the cricket world is dishonest and money-driven. Ordinary people, especially the fans of cricket, are unaware of the illegal activities that are continuously promoted in this sport. The writer has tried to reveal this black aspect. Inside Edge is a story about T20 teams who are to play against each other to win the title of PowerPlay League.
It is a fictional cricket tournament. The series mainly focuses upon Mumbai Mavericks, a cricket team co-owned by Zarina Malik. She is finding a person who would financially support her team. At this moment, Vivek Oberoi enters the plot as Vikrant. He wants to make money at any cost, and hence, makes a plan for match-fixing. From here, many ups and downs start taking place and the team faces many issues. Consequently, Mumbai Mavericks wins the trophy.
In season 2, the fans witness the next edition of the league where Arvind Vashisht is now the captain of Haryana Hurricanes. On the other hand, the team of Mumbai is led by Vayu Raghavan. Both of these teams want to win the trophy. But there’s a universal fact, the winner is only one! Overall this series shows how cricket seems fascinating but has many connections to drugs, politics, crime, and money.

This TV series has many talented actors. The main cast is anticipated to return just the same that happened in season 2. The show is starring Vivek Oberoi as Vikrant Dhawan.
