Dhoom franchise in its all three parts has well-known and popular faces as the main leads. But there were many rumors that Akshay Kumar would be going to play the main lead in Dhoom 4 but Yash Raj Film later stated that they never asked Akshay Kumar for the role in Dhoom 4. And they also said that they do not have any story or script till now, and they have no idea about the plot also at that time. YRF clarified that they have not signed any actors yet.
There were also rumors that Shahrukh Khan would be performed the main lead but the directors said the same at that time also, they do not have a story till then.
In Dhoom part 1 the cast members are as follows: Abhishek Bachchan as ACP Jai Dixit, Uday Chopra as Ali Khan, both of them remained the same for their respective roles in part 2 and 3. Then 2004’s Dhoom also has Rimi Sen as Sweety Dixit, John Abraham as Kabir, Esha Deol as Sheena, Ajay Pande as Vinod, Aarav Chaudhary as Rahul. Dhoom 4 Storyline
The story and plot of the Dhoom franchise were kept very simple from the start. And viewers can understand it easily. In Dhoom (2004) the story revolves around a gang of bikers who were on a robbery spree. ACP Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan) handed over the case of this robbery gang. ACP got Ali, who was a mechanic, to assist Jai in this case. With the clock pulsate, it was up to Jai and Ali to arrest the bikers robbery gang red-handed.
In Dhoom 2 (2006) Jai and Ali returned but this time they have to arrest the international thief, Kabir (Hrithik Roshan) who stole priceless artifacts, and then he has chosen Mumbai as his next target.
Dhoom 3 (2013) is the story of Sahir, a circus entertainer, who was trained in magic and acrobatics. He turned into a robber to theft a bank, involved in corruption in Chicago that harmed his father. Then later Indian Officers Jai and Ali were called from India to arrest him.
