Sony Liv released the trailer of the web series Gullak 2 recently a full family drama of A common Mishra Family is back with its heart touching story again. The first season of Gullak was premiered in the year 2019.
Gullak Season 2 is going to release in January 2021. OTT platform Sony Liv shared the trailer and captioned it as “सर्दियों की नरम धूप जैसे किस्से लेकर आ रहा है,एक बार फिर मिश्रा परिवार।इनसे मिलने आएगा ज़रूर एक बार”.
This show is all about the unconditional love and bond between middle-class families full of stereotypical thinking, surrounded by society’s pressure, teaching their children to well behave so that ‘Log kya kahenge ‘mentality will not get affected. Mishra Family is all about this and more will be got to know after the premier. But overall it will be of a similar plot to season 1.

In the trailer, Anu’s mother Shanti tells him that she was cooking alloo wale peele chawal that is tehri and Anu always used to refer to this dish as a disappointment. Narrator explained that the Mishra family is the same, nothing has changed. Jameel Khan as Santosh Mishra is still working in the electricity department who is always irritated by his scooter’s mileage. Anu is still unemployed and preparing for government exams. His younger brother still Aman is struggling with his studies. And then the main plot turns to Anu’s mother that is Shanti Mishra who is still waiting narrator says”अब आती है माँ जो अभी भी खीर में अमृत टपकने का अब भी इंतज़ार कर रही है।”
